I finally arrived to the cornerstone of musical greats. I sat in the exact same green room as James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald and Michael Jackson. Soon after leaving the green room, I entered into a warm, dark but peaceful auditorium filled with red seats and big stage thinking to myself “Wow, I can now say, I stood where they stood.” As I walked on stage to rehearse my show, and belted out my first note of my song among fellow contestants, I heard a pin drop and knew right at that moment, I am smack-dab where i’m supposed to be.
